Post image for the World Kid Lit Blog featuring a poster featuring an illustration of a young African-American child sitting and reading an open book with stacks of books around him. In the sky above the illustration are clouds and hot air balloons. There is a bright orange background and on top is text that reads "September is #WorldKidLitMonth" and white text that reads "the month to explore children's and YA books from all over the world" below that.

World Kid Lit

Though World Kid Lit has enough content to constitute a portal, it was designed as a blog and has new content added often, especially during September (“#World Kid Lit Month”). The blog offers reviews, interviews with creators and translators, and book lists. Of special note: they have been keeping annual translation lists since 2017. Among the site’s most useful tools is a search function that lets you search posts by age or genre, country or continent, language, prize, or publisher. Also listed on the Hub: Portals page. [dj]
