Larissa Helena is a Brazilian editor, rights consultant and translator based in New York City. Her translations of This Is Our Place won the 2023 GLLI Translated YA Book Prize, and of Here the Whole Time and Where We Go from Here won the same award for 2021. The latter two books were also awarded respectively the Latino Book Awards Silver and Gold Medal for Best Young Adult Book Originally in Portuguese. Helena launched her own imprint in Brazil, represented award-winning talent as a literary agent in New York City, and headed Callisto Media's rights department. Today she is head of content acquisition at Yoto, an innovative audio platform for children. [dj]
